7 days in the Mediterranean Sea, 7 popstars, a lot of influencers, a new family and more than 1200 guffaws a day. This is a good recap of the experience of being on board Open Sea Cruises x Axel, Axel Hotels and Dreamlines new cruise.
We dreamed about creating a safe space where LGBT+ community could feel free to celebrate love, diversity and freedom. We had non-gender WC, thematic days, non-stop music… and as much Drag Queens to fill up 3 seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Of course, RuPaul was the queen of the cruise. Before he began to play music, he wanted to communicate a message: “We all have more things in common than differences”, he said. “Music and dance join us together, they make easier for us to have a beautiful energy. Dancing is very important”. He also had a few word for his country: “We have to make americans dance again, because it’s not like in Europe, there. This is a syntom of something serious happening. Tonight we are going to send our energy to America, and to the White House… Because we are all one, even if I’m on stage and you are on the dancefloor”.

We had a glorious pop show every night: Icona Pop in Barcelona, after them, Kazaky, Loreen sang in Ajaccio, Vengaboys made us dance in Toulon, Eleni Foureira made Palamós burn, RuPaul joined the cruise in Ibiza and we ended with an acoustic and very intimate show of Conchita.
