What are they?
It is a multi-sport, artistic and cultural event with more than 18 disciplines organised by the GMadrid Sports club and held as part of Madrid’s LGBT Pride month.
Why were the Pride Games founded?
They were founded with the vision and objective of promoting sport in an inclusive environment of total freedom. They were held for the first time in 2017 on the occasion of World Pride in Madrid.
Over the last few years, the number of registrations has been increasing, especially last year after the pandemic. This year, more than 1,100 participants are expected.
It also has a great impact on the media and social media, exerting a greater power of attraction to the LGTB community and carrying the message of eradicating LGTBphobia in sport.

Axel Hotel Madrid becomes the ideal venue for the presentation of the welcome pack and press conference as official partners, before the start of the 2024 Pride Games, which will take place from 14 to 16 June this year.
