A new season of exhibitions and a new event calendar are kicking off now with MANUfuckTURA and “Free Love”.
Axel Hotel Barcelona is becoming the Queerxample hotspot, especially during the Pride months of June and July. At Axel Hotels, we work hard to offer you a 360-degree experience.
Here are a couple of new things, but they’re just a taste.
MANUfuckTURA
• What is it?
It’s a brand that does good, feels good, and represents unique design, focused on sexual health and the healing of our society.
They manufacture sustainable, vegan, and handmade erotic toys in Switzerland.
“Masturbation is an important part of our health, which in turn influences our actions. MANUfuckTURA toys are made exclusively from natural materials. Our brand stands for self-healing and inclusion,” they state in their Press Kit.

“Free Love”
• What is it?
It’s the new art exhibition at Axel Hotel Barcelona by Barcelona artist David Medina, a tribute and recognition of free love. From May 30 to June 30.
Through collages, David has created a collection of works inspired by his artistic and personal experience, using photography, editing, and digital illustration to create a multi-visual in each piece.
“These collections showcase male beauty free from any restrictions. They are collections that aim to go further and bring the audience closer to a more intimate vision between people, breaking any belief that limits love between all kinds of people and their voices,” says the graphic designer.
Diversity, home, love, pride, art, architecture… this is what makes Axel Hotels so unique, especially during these months which are so significant for us.
It is important for us to highlight culture from this perspective too, and we encourage all artists who identify with our values to participate.
