On the occasion of the International Day Against LGTBIphobia, May 17th, and together with Puma, Believe Group and La Federica, we’ve joined Stop Sida’s campaign with a financial contribution to support a project as urgent as it is necessary: the care and empowerment of LGTBI+ people who face more barriers than privileges.
The goal?
To create safe spaces where they can be heard, protected, and recognized. With psychological support, legal advice, guidance in filing complaints, training, access to employment and, above all, dignity.
Who are we talking about?
Trans women, undocumented migrants, people engaged in sex work or facing problematic substance use. Individuals who are still being silenced or pushed aside — even within the community itself.
In 2024, thanks to this project:
• 48 LGTBI+ people experiencing discrimination have received direct support.
• 21 free legal consultations have been provided.
• 34 people have been accompanied in reporting assaults.
• And 94 people have received support in finding employment.
These are just some of the real actions carried out this year thanks to the project.
